Cidro - the wine from TE WA Wines, by the originality of the production method, becomes the first product in this category of wine in our region. The winemaking method involves combining at the fermentation stage the two basic components - grape must and apple juice obtained by direct pressing.

The grapes of the Sauvignon Blanc variety were harvested in small 10kg crates, pre-warmed at +2°C, then destemmed and loaded into the fermentation vat. Parallel to the processing of the grapes in our winery, at another end of the country, at the small Lesnic family farm, the apple juice of three varieties - Gala, Granny Smith and Florina - was prepared by direct pressing in approximately equal proportions and poured over the fresh Sauvignon Blanc must on the same day.

The mass of grape must and apple juice fermented for 12 days at a temperature of 18°C on indigenous yeasts, after which it macerated for another month, following the extraction from the skins of substances important for the aroma and texture of the wine. After maceration, we gravity drained the wine only, without using any pressing.
