Time will tell
TE WA, "time will tell" in Maori, is a wineful result of the creative spirits of two female enthusiasts who wanted to make some of the finest limited editions the Moldovan terroir can create.

After globe-trotting from Napa Valley to New Zealand in search for the best wine experiences, they dreamed to make a wine that could send frissons of electricity down their spine.
And they did it in Moldova.

Valul Lui Traian PGI
The stratified geological structure formed in this region in the Quaternary and Tertiary period, represented by sediments from the Miocene epoch.
Due to this fact, the geological layers are mainly represented by clays with layers of sand, as well as by coastal marine sediments of shallow depths and by the delta sediments with sands, sandstones, and clays.
The composition of the soil cover in the Codru delimited wine region is rich in black soil (chernozem) which prevails in about 62% of the territory.
Brown and grey soils occupy about 14% of the territory, most of which is covered with forest vegetation.
The chernozem soils of this territory are made up of a carbonate type of soil which accounts for about 21%, ordinary chernozem - about 19%, leached chernozem - about 11%, and typical chernozem - about 8%.

Loam soil and clay soil predominate in 56% of the particle size metric composition of parent rocks, followed by loams, sandy clays, loamy sands, clays, etc.
The soil of 42% of the total area contains an alluvial-diluvial clay structure and about 14% of the area contains loessoidal clays. Alluvial sediments constitute up to 14% of the area, and the neogenic parent rocks constitute up 5% of the area.

Low intervention
Our winemaking stile
As with any natural product, the term low intervention (natural) wine simply indicates that nothing artificial has been added to the grape growing or winemaking processes. Low intervention winemaking aims to express the essence of wine without interference, and it's up for interpretation.

To make wine that achieves this, you have to start with high quality grapes. 100% hand-picked, in 10 kg crates. We work with small farms of grape growers from pruning to harvesting grapes. We have full control over all processes in the vineyard. In this natural winemaking style, there's a lot of things that aren't used: very little commercial yeasts, no fining or filtering, and no (or very little) additives. With low intervention wines, every wine will taste distinct.
is a wine label that represents a pure expression of the natural elements:
Winter
regeneration

Spring
rebirth
Summer
pure joy
Fall
plentiness

Led by a fondness for exploration and a passion for great wines,
is the love for nature and the indulgent experiences that do not always come with a price tag like the freedom to enjoy a breathtaking view for hours and living well amongst the simple pleasures and gifts from Nature.

Our wines tell the story of our bond with the land, and the extreme forces of nature – giving a taste of a new, rustic, luxurious lifestyle. It is all about sharing daring adventures and following its own path, whilst savoring the simple pleasures of life.

At the heart
of TE WA
Pursuing the idea of nature, each of our labels tells a story through the beautiful photography of the talented designer and photographer Mihai Stamati.

His lens managed to immortalize authentic rustic landscapes representing the entire quintessence of the Moldovan people: their connection with the soil, nature and its wealth.
