The vineyard is located near the village of Purcari, the wine-growing region within the Protected Geographical Indication Ștefan-Vodă.
Winemaking:
100% selective manual harvest, in 10 kg boxes.
Pre-cooling of grapes to +4 ゚C. Cryomaceration of the must for 4 days, fermentation with a mix of indigenous and selective yeasts.
35% of the wine matured in oak barrels for 24 months. The first 12 months in new Carpathian oak barrels. The next 12 months in French oak barrels of second usage. 65% of the wine vinified and kept in stainless steel, for 6 months of batonage.
